Red Lion Solutions Revenue Systems Engineering
The Firm · A Manifesto

Build the system. Then prove it runs.

Red Lion Solutions is a founder-led fractional RevOps / GTM engineering firm for Salesforce-centered B2B SaaS and tech-enabled revenue teams. We build the systems behind the revenue motion — signals, pipelines, routing, automation, diagnostics, QA, and documentation — and we stay until the team can run them. Advice that cannot be built is just an opinion.

Firm / 01 · Position

Revenue teams fail at the seams, not the fields.

Growing revenue teams do not fail because Salesforce lacks fields. They fail because the system around Salesforce becomes too fragmented to operate cleanly. RevOps quietly turns into a backlog queue instead of a systems function, and the seams between tools become the places where pipeline leaks.

Red Lion's mandate is to take the stress out of GTM systems and let revenue teams operate with cleaner architecture, better automation, trusted diagnostics, and safer releases.

SignalsMarketing and intent data do not reach sales at the right moment.
Product usageUsage data is not routed into the right commercial motion.
OwnershipLead, account, and opportunity rules drift without a clear owner.
PipelineReports become unreliable because definitions and lifecycle stages are unclear.
DiagnosticsManagers cannot see cycle time, conversion, SLA failures, or handoff quality.
BacklogEvery request becomes a one-off ticket instead of part of a governed system.

An engineering credential grid, not a résumé.

CR-01

Business applications ownership

End-to-end health of business technology stacks, including Salesforce, integrations, reporting, tooling, and stakeholder operations.

CR-02

Developer-grade Salesforce execution

Apex, triggers, async logic, automation, flows, permissions, integrations, and reporting across Salesforce-centered revenue systems.

CR-03

Lead-to-revenue tooling

Hands-on experience with LeanData, Chili Piper, and the routing, scheduling, ownership, and conversion workflows surrounding them.

CR-04

QA & release discipline

Salesforce QA experience, ISTQB certification, manual and automated test design, UAT support, regression thinking, and release notes.

CR-05

Admin & enablement depth

Sales Cloud, roles, profiles, permission sets, lifecycle process, documentation, training, reporting, and business user support.

CR-06

AI-assisted delivery

Practical Cursor and Perplexity workflows for requirements, development support, QA planning, documentation, and implementation research.

Firm / 03 · Method

A collaborative approach to revenue systems execution.

The delivery model is intentionally simple: identify the revenue systems problem, build the right workflow, test the release, and leave the team with operating knowledge.

Phase 01

Diagnose

Map GTM motion, ICP, signals, lifecycle stages, Salesforce architecture, routing rules, automation, reporting, ownership, SLAs, handoffs, and release risk.

  • Systems map
  • Pain and risk register
  • Prioritized backlog
Phase 02

Operate

Build Salesforce automation, routing architecture, signal scoring, campaign-to-pipeline reporting, sales-to-CS handoffs, data cleanup, and release process.

  • Configured workflows
  • Test plan and results
  • Release notes
Phase 03

Expand

Document how the system works, train the right operators, collect hypercare feedback, and create a support model for future changes.

  • SOPs and user guides
  • Dashboard interpretation notes
  • Future backlog recommendations

Use AI like an engineer. Build like the system has to survive.

OP-01

Build before you advise.

Advice is only useful when it can become a working system. Red Lion prioritizes implementation-ready strategy and production-quality execution.

OP-02

Make signals actionable.

Signals only matter when they change what the revenue team does next: scoring, routing, prioritization, sequences, alerts, dashboards, and accountability.

OP-03

Protect the release.

Revenue systems changes can break pipeline trust quietly, so test plans, regression suites, release notes, rollback thinking, and hypercare are part of the work.

OP-04

Use AI like an engineer.

AI accelerates requirements, research, QA, documentation, and implementation support. It does not replace technical review or production judgment.

Past basic admin, not ready for a full RevOps org.

If the revenue stack is powerful but overwhelming, Red Lion turns it into a cleaner, safer, more operational GTM system.
